Hey bookies? How have yall been since the last time we talked?? Lmk, anything interesting happen, did yall learn a new hobbies, new perspectives about yalls selves?
For me its been a roller coaster (maybe roller coaster is stretch but hey its been a few things lol) since the last upload....
Where to begin, working at Dollar General was ass definitely gave in my two week notice, turned in my key and with God's will I found another job. The interview with my perspective employer was so bright, she seemed fully committed and knew her team on a personal level especially with the growth they've shown with them working with her as a store manager. To be able to work with someone who truly cares for their team is so refreshing, I feel that bosses forget their employees are humans too and NOT ROBOTS. THANK THE LORD for this opportunity, I'm actually going in today to hopefully start the onboarding process pray for me, hehe.
Regarding my personal life, I started reading the book of proverbs and read the first proverbs and staring the second one today, God has been and will always be intentional with everything he does, which I am so extremely blessed and lucky to be fortunate to be his daughter. The first proverbs talks about not following those who have ill intention for others and the way to go about winning in life. To have the lord be the center because at the end we will be rewarded with what's meant to be for us instead of what isn't that could possibly cause harm to our loved ones and to those around us.
I'm still doing my daily walks with my papa aka BRODY, who we all love ( Ill say this again and again that is my child yall, mi bebe ( my baby), anywayss..) we do abt a 2.7 walk total from the house to the park and back, which again, God has blessed me so much, its really all him frl... He enjoys going to the park and sitting near the pond enjoying what the lord has created so precisely for us to be in those moments with mi bebe is so very amazing. The house I'm speaking of, I get to be roommates with my college best friend again, she has been my support system literally my family and so blessed god put her in my life. I get to mess with her now in the mornings, cook with her and be able to just go to her room and be in her presence. Everyone needs a YESI in their life( you just cant have mine.. lol). Although, I am taking a gap semester this year, I've been able to hangout with my other besties in college. They're so amazing and intelligent, I can't believe I know them lol. I've talked to my parents recently and they're doing well, well as well as they can be. I miss them so much but I wouldn't change where I am now. ONE MORE THING, I did karaoke for the first time with ABI which was so much funnnn.
A few hobbies I got back into doing is reading, currently, my read is "We were Liars" by E. Lockhart. It's pretty interesting so far its about a rich family in uptown New York who go to their summer home to visit and they have this image that they have to uphold even with themselves that one of the characters are going through a situation that she clearly has always questioned they way they live and how a certain event played out. So far a good read lol. I started coloring too which is always so peaceful. We (the girls and I) actually had little coloring session at sycamore which is always therapeutic because we have the privilege of getting to know each other more on a deeper level which i will always cherish.
One last thing, I got news for one of my goals, I'm still looking into it because if it processes and it becomes a permanent thig in my life for a few years, I will be sharing it. Just know God is not a god of coincidence or confusion.
